Bio: Giulio Pedretti and Giulia Carbonero President and Vice President of Superottimisti Archive: The Superottimisti Archive is an Italian cultural association that collects old home movies through projects involving local communities. The collected materials are restored, digitalised, catalogued, archived and made available for researches, audiovisual productions, art and museum installations, educational projects etc. The integrated skills of the Superottimisti team allow the development of a contemporary approach to the idea of archive, focused on the valorization of the Italian culture.

Through some case histories analysis of national and international cultural and educational projects, in fact, will be explored the historical educational value of home movies and how these images can “speak” to all generations from any place in the world.
